Roadside Assistance
We will instruct a motor specialist to attend your motor vehicle and provide 30 minutes of assistance to try and resolve the issue, if possible. This basic cover is included with your short-term insurance policy for no extra charge, so that our customers feel Safely Insured! We use Call Assist for this service, who are a renown roadside assistance company. You can also increase your level of cover to include recovery.
If you require, we will pass on two messages to your home or place of work to let them know of your predicament.

What to do in the event of a Breakdown?
If your vehicle has a breakdown during the period your vehicle is covered by an insurance Safely Insured has arranged for you, you can contact our Roadside Assistance & Recovery service providers, Call Assist, by ringing the number below and advising them that you are a Safely Insured customer.
*Restrictions to the assistance provided are:
- The vehicle and date the breakdown occurred must be during the period of the motor insurance policy we arranged for you
- The vehicle must be at least a ¼ of a mile from your home address
- No cover outside of England, Scotland and Wales
- Cover is for the vehicle only - no cover for any trailer or caravan
- Only covers movement of the vehicle and passengers within a 75-mile radius from where the vehicle breaks down
- No cover for draining or removal of an incorrect fuel type
- No assistance will be given if the vehicle is deemed unroadworthy or dangerous to transport
- There is no cover for the costs of any parts, components or materials used to repair the vehicle
